RARE ALERT: Gatwick gusher investor said to be carrying out £500,000 fundraising
Here is an interesting snippet about a listed tiddler that has an investment in Horse Hill, the oil exploration site just a few miles away from Gatwick Airport just outside London.
Little old Betaville has been told by savvy types that Primorus Investments, which has a 10pc stake in Horse Hill alongside UK Oil and Gas, has been tapping up investors for an extra £500,000.
Apparently, the equity fundraising is almost done and priced at around 0.15 a share.
No wonder, then, the stock is down 36pc today!
To be clear, SOME of this story is RARE! For readers unfamiliar with the RARE concept I will define it below.
Market gossip that hasn't been tested through formal journalistic channels (public relations executives, bankers etc). The rumour might be total codswallop but then again there may be something in it, so it's worth airing on Betaville.
