Anyway, I suppose the lesson from this is that trying to call the top of the market is almost impossible (although invariably there is the odd person who gets it right and you never hear the end of it).

Quindell said Terry was purchasing stock but in fact he was buying some shares by selling a large chunk of shares to Equities First Holdings with a pledge to re-purchase the shareholding in two years.
