Mediclinic said to weigh £1.8 billion plus takeover bid for Spire Healthcare - part 2
Anyway, I have been checking in with my sources on this one and it looks like, for the moment, Mediclinic has put this deal on the "back burner" following last week's profit warning. Now, I'm not reporting the deal is completely off the table - but for the moment it sounds like the healthcare group has got other priorities.
