EQT purchases renewable energy group OX2 for $1.5 billion

EQT appears to be one of the more active private equity firms at the moment.

Last week the private house, which is backed by the Sweden's Wallenberg family, bought US-listed digital consultancy Perficient for $3 billion.

And this morning EQT has just announced it is offering 60 crowns per share (or around $1.5 billion) for OX2, a Swedish developer of onshore and offshore wind and solar energy. As a result, OX2's shares are up just over 40pc. Below is a link to this morning's announcement:..
