Burmese Business - part 7

The Chinese appeared to have lost some of their appetite for Western businesses after a couple of years of hoovering up some of America and Europe's largest companies. In fact, Betaville wrote a piece on the topic in the The Sunday Times a couple of weeks ago. Below is the link to that feature:

Now, China may have kiboshed outbound M&A into Europe and America but research house Frontera suggests (see the link below) that South East Asian businesses, especially technology companies, are likely to see a surge in Chinese investment.

And Betaville wonders (out loud) whether Burmese social media group MySquar could one day be on the receiving of this Chinese "pivot"?..
