Telit Communications is lining up the former boss of onling gambling group 888 Holdings to become its new chairman.
According to sources in the recruitment industry, headhunting firm Korn Ferry recently put Richard Kilsby, who stepped down as chairman of 888 Holdings in 2015, on the shortlist of potential candidates to become the embattled company's new chairman.
One headhunting source suggested Kilsby - the husband of Susan Kilsby, the ex Credit Suisse banker who now chairs FTSE 100-listed pharmaceutical giant Shire - is Telit's preferred candidate to be chairman and an announcement about an appointment could be made as early as next week.
Kilsby was the chairman of 888 Holdings, a gambling website operator set up by some Israeli entrepreneurs, for nine years...
